This is how we know you don't pay attention to football. DHS consistently puts more players on 1A and 1AA college teams than Hahnville. DHS having a player or two a year that will at least see an NFL practice field is in a better position than a school who produces one every three years that just happens to last a little longer than that.

In other words, I will take having one to two Jericho Nelsons a year over having one Alfred Blue every three years.

DHS has not lost to HHS in 4 years..this year they beat that arse again 48 - 23...one name needs to be synonymous to DHS is "Ed Reed" which whom I graduated and played 4 years with a future hall of famer..Laron and company can't hold his jock

St. John parish public schools are terrible just as soon send your kid to Shawshank so the residents of St. John have to put there kids at SCC for safety reasons. I went to DHS it is nothing like ESJ. St. Charles parish academics are one of the highest in the state.

EVERY high school program in EVERY sport recruits. Question is whether it is within in rules and to what extent they break the rules.

This isn't even remotely true. Only schools that actually recruit are private schools and inner city schools where the player has a choice in 2 or more public schools in the area.

Fact, I goto most Karr/Hahnville/LSU games with blindfolds and I dont spend free time on football message boards

This simply is just not true, no reason arguing u, your mind is made up. Destrahan ships guys away from BR, Hahnville Tigers send em to LSU which is what truly matters, we are the good guys here.

Wrong on all accounts

LSU signees in the last 10 years:
DHS 4 (5 as of signing day 2016)
HHS 2 (3 if you go beyond 10 years and count Laron)

2016 Louisiana top 50:
DHS: 2 (1 of which will sign with LSU)
HHS: 0

2015 1A/1AA signees:
DHS 7
HHS 4

2014 1A/1AA signees
DHS 3
HHS 2

So it's only fair for you to do that, right?

That's weird. Scifres just punted the ball 6 times in his game last week.

And when's the last time either Landry or Byrd saw action in an NFL game? Or been on a roster for that matter?

quote:

and no etc, those 4 were the extent of the list

And who are the etc beyond the 4 you listed?

The mere fact that you listed Laron Byrd just reeks of desperation.

Your stats are incorrect destrahan boy

LSU signees in the last 10 years:
DHS 3
HHS 5

2016 Louisiana top 50:
DHS: 1
HHS: 2

2015 1A/1AA signees:
DHS 2
HHS 4

2014 1A/1AA signees
DHS 1
HHS 3

There u go, now sit down with your aggie colored school, ugly miss.state looking uniforms. Geaux HHS Tigers & Geaux LSU Tigers.
p.s. Glen Logan I Love you and want you please disregard these comments

I would link and dispute all your ridiculousness, but you are obviously drunk, so I will just correct the obvious:

DHS:Eugene, Jefferson, Jefferson, Molton

HHS: Blue, Sandolph

So I'll say this, in 2014 I can think of Merritt, Alfred Smith, Raejuan Marbley, Allen Pittman, Will Matthews, and Raekwon Morgan off the top. That makes 6 as opposed to the 1 you listed. In 2015, Glenn Logan, Gerald Wilbon, and John Williams are all D1.

Since you're clearly into the making shite up game, I'll play too.

All-time series record:

Destrehan - eleventy billion
Hahnville - 2

Lsu signees last year:

Destrehan - 85
Hahnville - 0

Now beat that, westbank trash

The don't recruit its just that because all the other public schools in the surrounding area are horrific that parents are moving to that area to get their kid into that school district. More academic issue than sports.

At the DHS game - my daughter is in the band - and Torbert is a beast. Looks like he's on a different level in a group of likely Saturday players.

No not recruits lol. These boys have been playing every sport together since 1st grade. These same boys have been playing football together or against each other since the 6th grade. Hurst boys have not lost a game. They tied this past Wednesday. They are all good friends and very respectable to everyone. My son is one of them and I am very proud of him and all of these young men for the way they conduct themselves on and off the field!
