LC said life has been rough since committing and that it was not over.

I wonder why Landon!!!

I for one thought committing to LSU biggest rival and then wearing that rival's gear to the BCS CG would have made him tons of friends in LA.

shocking eh?

That doesn't matter. I don't mind the look she gave but she had time to take it in before she spoke and embarrassed her son on national TV.

If you say so. I know I wouldn't do anything to embarrass my son on national TV. Family is ALOT more important than sports and to me, she showed that she cares more about football than her own son.

I think you can pretty well turn that opinion around 180 degrees

His mother was obviously taken completely by surprise and would not have been there if LC hadn't led her to beleive that he was committing to LSU.

Now it is his decision (IMO, some argue that his mother and father have a voice as well) but he put his mother in a position to become a story because she was shocked on national television instead of told in private

With all this shite going on right now Miles better have one helluva sales pitch planned.

The sales pitch is that we have most of our team coming back from a 13-1 season... with a better qb!!! Plus its like a half an hr. away from LC's home.

With a better QB? That we never played? Despite horrendous QB play by the starter?

We sure must have an overly complicated playbook for guys not to understand the plays. Maybe we need to simply it to handoff and pass ....

If you think you or i can ever figure out why LM didn't give the best passing QB at least a few attempts during the season .... well no we aren't going to figure it out and i don't see him explaining it. I for one am going to just move on. at least i won't have to read any more JJ vs JL post.

If McCarron didn't earn our respect Monday then he never will. The guy was a good qb Monday and he's only a soph. Mett is more talented but that doesn't mean he will be better particularly if our coaches don't allow him to be.

He disrespected his Mother on TV. She is the parent...not the child

I know she's the parent but when your child grows up, you've gotta let him make his own choices.

The disrespect wasnt about who he chose..........but how he did it.

How did he do it that disrespected her? Recruiting is big right now and he was having fun on national TV. She spoke her mind that she thought he should go to LSU but she should have told him that privately. If she did and he still didn't listen, oh well, it's his life.

go back to tidefans circke jerk.

Never been there. Been on this site since 07 and I've never visited anywhere else.

BTW, she needs to support him cuz he's the reason she'll never have to work again in a few years. He could go anywhere and still get a fat contract in 3 years.

If he led his mom to believe that, he was wrong but I don't know the whole situation. I do think it's ONLY his choice cuz he's the one that will have to go to that school for the next 3 years.

Would love to have Devall and wish him no ill will as he has handled his recruiting with class and been straight up all along. If you are going out of state, please dont btw, this is how you do it. To see how not too, look at Landon Collins
