I didnt say he was or wasn't. Just saying what DD's dad told me. I don't think he told me this to build hype for either guy. His son is not one for hyping up the media or fans anyway. I just wanted to share. I think we ultimately lose out on both.

I still stand by what I said the day he committed....this recruitment is not over by a long shot. He was being sold on coming right in and starting for Bama only problem is Lester decided to stay for his senior year. Add in HAHA from last year and #3 (Safety- his name slips me) both will be there. Home town boy will keep on thinking this through. Again, we have something Bama doesnt and this is a fact.....MOMMA! Give it time guys, he may stay with Bama, but anyone who thinks this is signed, sealed and delivered needs to get their head checked. What would take some heat off of ol Les more than landing Mr. Collins?

Sure as shite did spell it wrong. To clarify, I'm not friends with the family, only the dad. He comes into my office a few times a month and we talk football while he is here. I have nothing to gain from this info.

He doesnt live with his momma ......so in this particular case its not as big a factor as it normally is.

Good point. Also I'm pretty sure it was Burton Burns or Sunseri that was recruiting LC.

I guarantee Les is not moving on. If you want to think that, be my guest, but Im holding out hope that maybe we get some good news come signing day.

We might get some good news but its obvious it wont be LC. You people are hopeless when you have the P&G glasses on.
Its tough to take and alot of LC's recruitment smells but the fact is its over.
Les will go after him but he will also not count on it either.

Why? I'm sorry but if he didn't think there would be a lot of backlash from his decision then he is crazy. You spurn the home-state school where a number of your close friends are going and where your whole family wants you to that school's most hated rival, you are going to get a lot of backlash. I never said anything negative about the guy, but to say I feel bad for the kid, I really don't just because he had to expect it.

Yes, you are correct. Im hopeless because I have faith in Miles as a recruiter and we all know that once a kid commits it is in concrete. Why everyone here has to be pessimistic blows me away. Its ok to think there is still a chance even with it maybe being 00.01%.....nobody will think any less of you as a person....

On the LC thing, it should be a lesson for other top recruits in the state. If you want to go elsewhere, fine, but have enough sense to not rub everyone's face in it on national TV. I realize that wasn't the intent, but it was certainly the perception.
