Great pickup and a good player. I'm sure the Bama tards will be here shortly to say how he's either a grade risk or they didn't really want him anyway.

In bama's defense, they've only got like 35 schollies to offer.

Thing is that bama has been doing this since Saban has been there in 2008 recruiting the front seven. It's sad that it took this long but in a couple years we WILL be right there again. I just hope Aranda and Bebe stay to build this thing back. I think they will have it bigger and more athletic than saban had here at LSU honestly. Bebe even said it himself we aren't there yet but well on the way. Chavis didn't know what he wanted and it took very rare athletes to make that defense good enough. He should have been recruiting lighter and heavier DLman and backers. For both kinds of styles. It's still going to take a few more years of this kind of recruiting to be BACK. Now we need some big time linebackers. We get them and our D WILL be better than bama. Our secondary recruiting it's better so it will be a complete Defense with some linebackers. Aranda needs to stay for 5 or 6 years like smart did for bama. We start beating Bama and I think Saban retires.

Dude has offers from Bama, LSU, FSU, USCe, USCw, Tenn, Clem, UF, L'ville, and Mich...

and he is a 3*! Offer list alone is 4* worthy.

Anybody else see this guy moving out to DE in this 3-4 scheme?

DE all the way...read the article posted on other thread.

Coach says he can't run his offense with him on the other side of the ball.

Always happy to see us reel in a big time lineman. We are FINALLY loading up on the beef.

Is that supposed to be 6'4" 290?

190 seems a bit unrealistic for a DT...

Didn't we get an OL last year who received a late Bama offer? Jakori Savage maybe?
