Makes sense. To me it does, anyway.

1. Home. I remember last year after his Jr. year after the state title, he mentioned that. Even said LSU would be his preference. I know how time changes things, but regardless.

2. Downs, Benton, Aubrey

3. How many times has he been to Baton Rouge on unofficials? "Just to visit." Compare that to his one trip to Alabama. Or his one trip to Oklahoma. Common sense would tell you he's pretty comfortable in Baton Rouge.

4. Regardless of the depth chart, he's going to get on the field.

5. Not sure how accurate the comments made about Randle and Mingo hanging out lately.

I see what you are doing here. I'm not falling for that trap again. OIT ruined it for you.

Plus, if he goes to Bama, then Kendall Kelly will end up at LSU.

I know this is the status quo, but even if RR goes to Bama, I don't see KK at LSU.

I just don't see it.

I hope I'm wrong.

No, wait. I hope this is all irrelevant cause RR is coming to LSU.

I'd like to see him become part of our class. That 4.37 may be a fluke, but he's obviously fast as shite and there's one play in his state title film where he is like a bolt of lightning to the quarterback. I wouldn't normally want a 5'8" linebacker but Ron Cooper has a reputation for finding "diamonds in the rough" (though Davis is ranked right behind Telfort on Scout) and Chavis has a noted preference for smaller, quicker linebackers.

McCarthy flying out to see him yesterday tells me it is not completely "over."

he was already in Orlando watching the game

so it was a matter of driving out to Sanford (about 20 mins from Citrus Bowl) the next day

Sorry Prom. If it's any consolation I agree with you on Randle, for all of the reasons you listed. Those are the reasons I put Randle at LSU as well.

Montgomery...........jeez I don't know what to think. He seems like a clown so we'll see. I think there's always been genuine interest, whether or not we're the leader I don't know.

Derby: you stand by Dye not being eligable? I thought that might get us a mention on tv the other night. I feel like the Seminole Trio went Florida (schools) for tv and that the game was in Florida honestly. If Dye committed to Miami, surely he's far enough off to even qualify here and will have to go JUCO.

Also Derby: what's your stance on Debose. You throwin in the towel yet?

Davis, I agree, I think he'd be a good one. Speed is key these days, more so than size. I'll take a bowling ball at OLB. If we landed Myles or Moore as another safety, I say we tag Davis instead of Johns; that's my opinion.

That's was impressive. I like this kid but with the time constraint I don't see him coming.

I would like to know his true weight. I've seen 184-198 range. The low end won't help.

I think they mean that Debose told them he was going to commit at the game, so they advertised it as such. If he changed his mind at the last minute, I could see ESPN being like "Uh-uh, young man! We've been splattering your announcement everywhere, and you can't back out now!"

It's quite clear after that spectacle on Sunday with the D-bag guy who handled the announcements that ESPN wants this to be an announcement extravaganza. That's where they get their ratings: the announcements.

This is America. He can be sued for it, too.

I don't think Debose was contractually obligated to announce, but I'm sure he had to sign some kind of agreement that said that he would announce at the game. Otherwise, what if all the recruits backed out of their announcements?? ESPN would look stupid and no one would watch the game. The fans would be furious!

ESPN had to protect itself against looking foolish (and against losing viewers) SOMEhow.

Actually, it's quasi america as the money and political board has pointed out that it's becoming more socialistic as the day goes. ESPN,as we all know, are nothing but a bunch of pinko commi bastards.

I know you guys remember the video of Debose at the UA game saying LSU fans should be happy with his decision, and I love that about the kid. We are gonna scorch you guys next year (again). Please tell me what position Russell Sheppard will play? The slot? Because that kid has to be the most overrated player in the nation. That skills challenge showed how bad of a passer he was. Anyways, Debose said he committed three weeks ago during the playoffs. I know someone on here said "didnt he say LSU was the leader a couple weeks ago?" Debose did the Gator chomp, refute this if you can.

Dude, your a homer, and that is being kind

Keep this up and we will have to start pulling for OU.

Saying RS is over-rated is being just being UF fan apparently...

Yes RS needs to work on his passing skills, everyone has said that is his weakness and he lacks size

but as an pure athlete and leader, he is as good as it gets

Is Tebow a good passer? Please! However, The ball finds it's way doesn't it..

Jefferson seems to be our QB, Shep will see action somewhere some how..

Yes LSU was Debose leader, is this too hard for you to accept

And debose FWIW didn't grow up a Gator fan...Please! It's all about Momma getting to see her boy..

and that wasn't the Gator chomp

Urban is a Cryer, Liar and smirker, Tebow makes him look like genius...Fact!

Junk offense, that produces no NFL running game prospects...Oh well, it does work with Tebow

Not looking for flames or anything, but why exactly are you here?

I actually agree with much of what you said about Debose...just wondering why you're saying it here.

Russell Sheppard was ranked number one in the ESPN rankings and also was very high in rivals (was he above Matt Barkley?). THERE IS NO WAY THAT GUY IS THE BEST PLAYER IN THIS CLASS. He is definitely not the best quarterback either. He is a great athlete, that plays QB. If he doesnt improve during the spring, this guy will be a slot receiver for his colege tenure.

Tell me more about how you think Tim Tebow isnt a good passer. Please. Junk offense? I have my opinion about Tebow and you have yours, but Tebow will get his shot in the NFL as a QB. I think he will make the most of it and do whatever he can to get better.
