I want to give a hat tip to the Dandy One for doing something that not many on this board would ever do, admitting that he made a mistake. I also think Dandy is right on with his predictions with a week to go. In preparation for the doubters, I am outing my inside source - my cat Mr. Nappers

DD is a joke. just cause someone said someone called a radio station he puts it on his website. he should check the info before he puts it on his website.

The difference is he has a website and a large number of posters on TD, including me, love to read it and appreciate it.
You don't have a website and about 10 posters care what you post. That is all.

Dandy Don provides much more information than most...He is never negative or a doomsdayer like many, yall know who you...He responds to emails and he does have contacts in Louisiana...No one is perfect on TD...Recruiting is a crap shoot...

The idea that there are any "experts" when it comes to the reporting of recruiting information at this time of the recruiting year is the only "joke" out there. I've been reading Dandy Don's DAILY for more than a decade. He is correct on most of the things that he posts. He has surely made mistakes...everyone has! I am new to TigerDroppings, TigerBait, Tiger---etc... but I am sure that misinformation has been trafficked on these websites as well. The fact of the matter is that too many people on these boards want to be perceived as having more and better information than anyone else. That's the real joke! I'll take Dandy Don's report over anything I read on a message board any day of the week. He's not annonymous, we all know his name, address, and phone number. He also admitted to his mistake. Lay off the Don!

DD has the respect of High School coaches, and college coaches all over the state. DD meets on friday mornings with everyone that can show up. I like his site, and where else can you sit down with someone and discuss LSU sports. I like this site, have subscrip. to Rivals and Scout, and donate to DD every year.
Like me he is not perfect, but not afraid to admit a mistake. He is true Purple and Gold.

he just said he was wrong about the richardson decommit. the thing is, there was enough static to have people close to him to say he never said "decommit". So DD probably got some good info and things changed.

Half the shite on here is crap or sugar coated...90% of the junk on here is crap...Most do not know shite when it comes to football and recruiting...Yes, DD is all purple and gold, so what...I am also all P&G, I never talk negative about the team or coaches...So, I guess I sugar coat everything as well...It is much better to be optimistic than pessimistic...You think...

DANDY DON is a great guy and true LSU fan!!! There are a lot of us out there that appreciate his daily info updates. Let's show him some gratitude! Nobody is perfect. At least he'll go out on a limb and make every effort to bring us accurate info. Others most definitely do not!

Dandy does a decent job and for those on the board who constantly diss him, he does what most blogs do -- collect information, edits and distributes -- Kinda like the media in general. The fact that he comes up a lot tells you that a lot of people read him -- and don't read the rest of us.
