We will be ok in the middle...The coaches had MJ high on their list all season...I know the way it played out soured many LSU fans on MJ, but I still think he'll be a player on D...

I think everyone would have been happier with him if he didn't play the game the way he did.
Personally, I don't care and the kid was a take from teh beginning. People will forget about this soon and he'll be fine.

I'm a little late to post and congratulate MJ on the commitment because my wife gave birth to my daughter on Tuesday.
I have seen MJ play several times over the last two seasons, and I believe he is going to be VERY good barring any unforeseen issues. He is built like a damn rhinocerus with a low center of gravity and very strong. He is suprisingly quick off the ball and extends his arms well to take on and control blocks. He may not get off blocks as quick as he controls blockers, but that assessment may be skewed because of the frequency of double/triple teams faced. His time in a 20 yard shuttle is probably above average for most D1 defensive linemen, and he is most definitely stronger than most.
GOOD LUCK to you Mickey and GOD BLESS. It will be GREAT to see an SPS alum in the purple and gold. Enjoy it and work hard.
