I liked him as a DT, but he had some growing to do. I think he would have done well here given some time.

Do you guys think this is a pretty good sign that we have our DT's locked up already? Would we have let this kid committ if he wanted to? How many DT's do we take this year?

In my mind, we need 3 at least + maybe a strong side DE type that could potentially grow into a tackle. Lawson is #1, I feel pretty good about Gilmore being #2. For the third, your guess is as good as mine. I know recruiting has become more and more accelerated but it is still really early, and more names will pop up especially this summer. You never know when we'll find our next gem from Selma, Alabama haha.
