His dad is an orthodontist that played back in the Arnsparger days.
We worked together for several years in our early days of dentistry. Haven't spoken to him in a while, and this gives me a perfect opportunity to dial him up.
Thanks for posting.

Hey, St. Stanislaus won a state championship will Chris Frigo was there. Senoir Zach Elkins who played safety is from Stanislaus too.

Well he doesn't need a scholarship in that case.

I was going to ask if he was from the same school. Good to have depth and good from Frigo.

When I lived in Mississippi and went to Hancock we played him. I thought he was pretty good.

Welcome aboard, Chris. I knew your Dad back in the day when we both at LSU. Lived across the street from your mom in Bay St. Louis before moving to Louisiana. Glad to see you are a Tiger just like your Dad.

Quite a class there.
Go ahead and throw in a hs teammate of mine, Verge Ausberry. Walked on with an academic scholarship, and led the team in tackles two seasons.
I run into some of those guys occasionally. Saw and talked to Packnett at the Cotton Bowl.
Played against Filer at St.Martinville back in their heyday, but he never made it academically at LSU.

Can't look at just the ACT score, that's a smart kid. He has a great work ethic, and I'm just so glad he chose to follow his dad and not go to a Mississippi School. His lil brother is bad-arse too. He will do great at LSU.
