I've heard that LSU is showing some early interest, so we will see how it all plays out.

Burch is fat. But yes, he can run. Oliver cannot run. Oliver has a stronger arm. I was watching the title game and the difference between Oliver and Burch is that Burch seemed to throw every pass like the ball was on fire. He made his guys miss hooks and outs because it was simply too hard for them to catch it. Zach Oliver has touch.

Oliver could have definitely thrown that flea flicker into the endzone when Burch's pass fell well short.

Burch could've thrown it in the endzone as well. That's why I asked in another thread WTF? I've seen him throw 65 yards, which is what it would've taken to reach the endzone.

hes a gun-slinger and a good one

I watched Oliver play a couple of times this year and last...Dont be surprised if LSU shows a lot of interest...body type, arm strength and smart. Not sure if LSU or who may offer but he will be high on LSU list..

Burch isn't fat. He wears a rib protector. He'd be even faster if he wasn't wearing a knee brace. He could have easily thrown the flea-flicker into the endzone. I've seen nearly every game of his the last 3 years and he has more than enough arm strength. As a sophmore he only came in during obvious passing situations so he is a year behind in development. He missed spring practice last year due to the knee and was limited during the summer. He went to the LSU camp before his JR year and was mentioned by Rivals as a player to watch. He was getting some interest from LSU early in the process and TSD did an article on him because of it. Mississippi State was on the verge of offering him when he committed to Tech.

I saw Oliver against WM and wasn't that impressed. I don't know what he looks like against weak-arse Baton Rouge teams but against the only real team he faced he looked pretty average. All this hype he's getting reminds me of T. Broadway and he probably won't get an offer like Broadway.

These schools won't look at Oliver. He will be I-AA/D-II or maybe a school like Rice or Baylor. You do sound absurd.

Meyers will be a safety in college at probably Southeastern LA, Northwestern LA, etc. He has I-AA offers ... all at Safety. Coon will be a receiver in college at mid-major...Miami-Ohio offered him as an athlete/receiver and he is one hell of an athlete.

I just watched his Junior year highlights. He looks legit to me. Prototype form and presence. Throws a really nice ball, accurate (of course a highlights reel doesnt contain any incompletes or int's). Big boy too. Is LSU in on him? If not, why?

I would expect this at the minimum.

I think LSU really really needs to look at Oliver, especially during his senior year, which I think Catholic will regain the 5-5A district crown, with Central losing its stout senior class. Plus I wouldnt blame Notre Dame going after Zack. LSU really needs a great passer now.

Only drawback is his lack of mobility. He has everything else you want in a college QB prospect. Big arm, great measurables.

He is a 4 star caliber player. At the worst he will bea 5.7 3 star. Major conference teams will give him a serious look. Very similar to Chris Garrett.
