Anybody have some info on him or what position he's projected to play?

Projects at safety, will camp to try to earn an offer. Diggs can tell you a lot more.

I'm not sure, but this kid is a Tiger through & through. He bleeds purple & gold just like us, and that is definitely refreshing.

It sounds like LSU is his dream school and I hope he EARNS a offer at a camp. His highlights look very good. I know it is supposed to be a small class, but I could see us taking him especially if we miss out on a few big prospects.

It's not going to be. Every recruiting season starts off with a projected small class and every class ends up being at or near 25. We have so many guys who will be eligible for the next draft and also an entire spring and summer for a few to realize they are not going to get much playing time at LSU. As for Carlton Perkins, I think he goes to LSU if the staff extends him an offer. One of his coaches posts on TSD. He wants Perkins to be at LSU and Perkins himself wants to be at LSU. I hope he looks good in camp because I like his attitude and his coach's attitude on how a recruitment process should be handled.

Carlton and one of his coaches came to several games during 2011. He he was a big time producer as a junior in high school. I hope his camp is as productive because it seems like he has a very strong want to help LSU win.

Not sure he's going to wait till mid July if other opportunities present themselves. He would love to be a tiger but is not gonna wait for a spot that could be filled by then. If he goes to camp committed to another school and earns an LSU offer he will commit to LSU. Recruiting is a business and you have to get in where you fit in.

I hope he gets an offer from LSU. I think he deserves one for his talent and his unending support and love shown to LSU. Some kids deserve to be rewarded for their continued support for a school an Perkins is one of those type of guys imo. It seems like he is always at LSU. He's talented enough for an offer. Don't really know who he's battling against to be honest. Kameron Miles and Maurice Smith are 2 guys ahead of him on the board but I don't think we'll land both of them.
