He said that UGA wouldn’t accept another 2021 QB commitment until he made his decision BUT that’s definitely BS now that Vandagriff is on the market again. He also said that we’re not accepting a 2021 QB until he commits. Is that true? I’m sure we’d take a commitment from Vandagriff but what about Nuss?

It would be dumb for us to take another QB before Caleb commits. This is the recruit that could cement our program for a decade—I don’t care if we have to do a thing where we don’t let anyone publicly commit until we’re sure with him; if that’s what it takes, we do it.

(Within reason. And obviously we’ve already taken commits but you get my point)

I just hope he does like most top QB’s and commits a year ahead or the summer ahead of his senior season so that he can start recruiting people to come with him that way we know what we need to do so far as QB recruiting goes

They’re all great but I really like Williams’s running ability. I think Arik Gilbert May recruit Vandagriff as they’re both from Georgia, he tweeted at him yesterday.

I think he's definitely looking to commit early judging by the amount of unofficial visits he has already taken. We should get an official in the spring and hopefully he will commit.

He is. His high school coach likes them to know where they’re going for their senior year.

Gilbert has been on record as actively focusing on Caleb Williams as someone who he is recruiting. He stated it after he committed to us and around the time of his GNPOTY award. Now Vandagriff would not be a bad back up plan.

That interview didn’t show a whole lot of lean towards LSU

Yea he’s been pretty adamant that he doesn’t have a leader

Not sure where all the confidence comes from, but I hope it’s well founded

You think he would be eligible for 10 years

An initial question probed for his thoughts on the team that is the No. 1 school on his list scoring 1,000 points in the college football playoff. Williams heard it, played along and then quickly countered that those LSU Tigers were not the No. 1 team on his list. “I wouldn’t say that they are number one, though,” he said. “I wouldn’t say that.”

I like Williams a lot, but Nuss is a pretty good consolation prize.

I’m not gonna link anything. But y’all do yourself a favor and look up both Williams and Nuss’ highlights.......and completion percentage.....

Williams is the splash commit, Nuss is the coaches son that Will actually read defenses, and lead the SEC in completion percentage.

I prefer Nuss personally, but can obviously see where a Williams commitment would make a splash.
