Completely thankless job. You have to work your arse off and have no shot at ever seeing the field. Many quit well before their eligibility is up.

Just go watch his hudl and 100% of plays are off playaction. I saw at least 20 pop passes. Some flares. Point is a college can find an athletic qb to run what he has shown in high school. I remember Bonis saying that he cant belive he hasn't got an offer yet.

LSU is really good at drop back passes.

Broggi was a late blumer. I won't badger Bonis, but I am not a fan. Did not do a good job of maximizing the talent at his disposal. Broggi seemed to be a decent, tough athlete. May develop into a decent back up in the next couple of years

Good size and impressive stats. Why has he not received any offers? What are the negatives?

Lsu is recruiting XYZ dual threat qb
"Why do we keep recruiting dual threat. Are these coaches stupid?"- Every TD poster

Good pocket passer from New Orleans commits, and is free (no scholly)
"This guy isn't athletic enough"-every post on TD

None of which are QBs. Other players get opportunities to play special teams and show what they can do on the field. Walk on QBs have almost 0% chance of ever seeing the field.

There are some Broggi's out in the Thibodaux area. I went to school with Todd which was much younger than me in school. Jake resembles those Broggi's a lot. Any relation to them if any of you know, thanks.

That's his dad. Jake started at HL as a freshmen then transfered to Brother Martin.

Excuse me for not knowing any different but why would he go out to Brother Martin when EDW is right here in Thibodaux or was this because of some family issues that sent him out to Brother Martin. I know Todd is doing pretty damn good here in Thibodaux with Crawdaddy's seafood.

Then the kid has a pretty good pedigree then. I know Todd's daddy Bob was one hell of a RB/FB back in the day and suffered a bad knee injury that ended his college career.

Todd is his dad. All close family. It's kind of cool to see someone from your family being talked about in regards to LSU football.

Yes Tommy Hodson is also in the family tree on his grandmother's side but no blood relation.

I know the family very well as well. My son played at HL with Jake. He was Jake's blind side protection. He's still friends with Jake. Jake left HL when they swapped head coaches, who told Todd they were going to an almost strictly rushing offense. As far as ED White, Todd was never a big fan of Vandy or ED White; hence how he ended up at Brother Martin.
