This is why I'm thinking Harris has a camp offer, unless something has happened with Rudolph and we lost ground.

I don't think we lost ground on Rudolph, I still think we get him. And weird for us to give an instate guy a camp offer. Especially someone like Harris who seems to want the LSU offer bad.

This is what really worries me. I want to see that ~60% his senior year. Shepard had huge accuracy problems too, and we see how that turned out (granted, he doesnt have the arm Harris has)

Exactly. LSU-caliber QB's need to be >60%

Then I don't see the rush to offer Harris. That poor completion percentage would have me waiting until later in his senior year to see how he progresses. Keep recruiting him, but tell him he has to get better to earn that offer.

With how limited our numbers are for this class, already taking two high-quality QBs last class and lead for a much better QB in this one, this offer leaves me scratching my head. Not saying he may deserve it later on down the road, but at this point I just don't see why

I wouldn't put an exact number on it because QBs in high school could have a great arm but have shitty WRs that drop a lot of balls causing that number to drop, but his % that junior year isn't just bad WRs (if that even plays into it)

I think Rudolph is deciding before summer or early into summer. And we still lead. I thought I read somewhere harris wants to decide soon? Which could play into giving him a camp offer, as a backup in case Rudolph gets blown away on one of his remaining visits.

No reason to take a project like Harris after Our QB history and the two great QB's we took last year. Next year with Jennings, Rettig, and Rudolph, I could see taking a project type guy. I'm with you GA, I don't see the point in offering him now.

If we take harris over Rudolph, I'll post porn on the OT. It would be a horrible decision. When the rantards come over after the season they'll be calling for les' head even more for getting "JJ 2.0"

What if rettig is Lee 2.0? You can say that kind of stuff about any recruit.

Less than 50% completion is terrible

Every year there are 4* and sometimes even 5* QBs with ~50% completion percentages as a senior. We don't even know how accurate Harris will be as a senior yet.

Tyrone Swoops was a 5* with shitty numbers in 2A in TX, he fell drastically.

After seeing GA's point I also agree with this, run along now.

Harris is a better athlete than JJ, but honestly, I think JJ was a better passer in high school

This is just getting confusing now.

Speaking of sigs, didn't you want a new one?
