Arkansas is the leader to get him right now. He was a huge Ryan Mallet fan and grew up liking the hogs. I have a relative that is a coach at Parkway and he tells me Les visited the school not to long ago and it made a huge impression on him. I think if we want him we'll get him, but we're going to have to wrestle him away from Arkansas and I've heard Texas A&M is in the mix now.

Came straight from the kids mouth. Got a text message with him saying it. Look I want him at LSU to, but we haven't won him yet.

I don't think he's struggling with grades I know the kid personally he has straight A's I happen to teach him. Get your facts straight. Don't talk about a 17 year kid and dog him out like he's not human lets be glad he has a scholarship and he's going to school rather then trying to humiliate him

No grade trouble at all! He will graduate mid-term, and he's met the ACT requirements. All out great kid.

And I don't think Brandon is begging for Lsu seems like they won't him otherwise he'll end up else where, y'all might not be aware but Alabama is coming to watch him this spring Texas A&M, Florida and urban at Ohio state just to name a few, I hope he goes else where and beat LSU take some! Brandon's a really good kid comes from a good family, and for you guys to say these things not cool, he's a great kid get a chance to know him before you judge him!

I think you are either taking this board too serious or you are a student rather than a teacher. Either way nobody said anything overly critical. One guy asked if grades were an issue because he heard they might be. He obviously had bad info. The other main critique was accuracy but most said he could improve on that his senior year and at camps.

LSU should not wait too long to pull the trigger on this kid or else it could be an uphill battle. His name is spreading fast and it won't be long until he is in the national spotlight

LOL I had to laugh. Not doubting you know the guy, but it is funny reading your post.
Oh, and BTW, screen pick of the text or it didn't happen....you know the drill!

Brandon Harris throwing accurate passes downfield to an open Trey Quinn for touchdowns would make some RB heads explode. Not fricking possible.
Personally, having watched Brandon on tape and in one game, I think at least some of his lack of accuracy had to do with his selection of throws. He was more likely to throw it downfield than most QBs, like a modern-day high school Daryl Lamonica. Lots of passes 15 yards downfield and farther.
If he'd throw more 5-10 yard passes, he'd complete 60 percent. Plus, he throws on the move a lot, which hurts percentages as well.
The accuracy critique is still valid, but it's an easier fix than people think.

I've seen him play a lot, and been on the field during 7 on 7's. I just don't think he has the zip on the ball like other qb's. I think he's another Jerrard Randell. Who was a 4 star Qb.
