Yes. That's the point. Why is so mindblowing that he got a Bama offer when he already had an LSU offer? Especially when LSU actually eval'd him and Saban is just dickriding Les' offer.

He is speaking to the fact that the guy made it seem as if it would be mindblowing to get a bama offer as if an LSU one is not equally mindblowing.

Did this article portray the actual conversation with this writer in the right light?
The way it reads is like YOU were mesmerized by all things Bama, including their fine, upstanding and honest Coach.
After reading your post about Tony Brown Saturday, I would assume, this writer took your words and added all this awe.
Either way, you're a fantastic member of the RB and I think I can speak for most on here, that this wont change in the next four years regardless of Dylan's final decision.

There's a kid in Denham Springs that's probably going to be recruited like this one. He's a 7th grader with similar size, name is Jarvis Scott. He played in my son's youth football organization and will be playing 8th grade ball at Southside Jr High next year. Absolute animal, he was basically a starting HS linebacker out there playing with 11 & 12yr old kids this past season. Not sure if there has been any discussion on this board about him.

ETA LINK

Found the 1st half of one of their games on youtube, he's #7 on the Purple & Gold team. Keep in mind these are 11 and 12yr olds and it was raining it's arse off that day so the ball handling is quite sloppy

I still don't understand sharing so much personal information so early in the process. The whole process is really a private decision by Dylan and his family. He has plenty of time and the less shared with others the better. If he does commit to Bama and does so early (his junior year) I don't imagine the conversations will be the same on this board. I do look forward to watching him play but hopefully for Dylan's sake all this goes away for about 2-3 years.

One of the returning stars at LB has some decisions to make on whether to return to FB after surgery or focus on baseball, where he's also a star. If he opts out of FB, there will be 2 starting LB's to replace that were both playmakers.

I heard Jake already made the decision to focus on baseball. Is he having second thoughts? He is an absolute stud, I hope he can still play.

That sucks. My brother had to make a similar decision in his SR year of HS.

Did the Sensley kid sign anywhere? I heard he may get a baseball look also.

I don't know Project. I hope so, he's a good kid and hits a ton (on the gridiron and the diamond). And always around the ball.

Not sure if Jake has made a final decision-he could play at the next level in either sport. Maybe if it would ever quit raining, I'd know more.

After watching the video against kids his aged this kid is ridiculous. Will love to see this guy against people older than him. Glad we offered him early but his recruitment has a long way to go

Jake Wharton #44 I believe. Very good RB/LB. Very underrated because he has to play with Nick Brossette
