Sonny and Shea both called him to LSU. Former Aussie rules player. Lefty, the next Brad Wing perhaps?

Highlights, practice

I'm done with Aussie kickers. Let's try someone from Africa or something.

Bama did very well with their Australian punter. Jaime is good, not Brad Wing good, but still pretty good.

If this guy could be as good a Bama's or Brad (hopefully without the off the field issues), I say sign him up.

Flipping the field in a tight game can make the difference between a good team and a play-off team.

You need a punter, better to get him on campus now to learn so he's ready for 2016
Domingue and Gonsulin could also punt

I agree. Sometinmes myths die hard. LaFell dropped passes 1 year at LSU and some people don't remember his improvement the next season where he caught everything. Keehn was very inconsistent his 1st year as starting punting at LSU. But they fixed his mechanics for the bowl game that season and last year was fine. If this guy is as good as Wing and Keehn, fine with me.

Jamie is good but it seemed like he had one "wtf" a game.

I disagree...he had several games in 2014 without a shank. I think you are remembering the season before last...then you can probably change that to 2 'wtf' a game.

For the record, the 2nd team 2014 All SEC punter as chosen by the SEC coaches:

P — Jamie Keehn, LSU

Then how do you explain him being 2nd team All SEC punter as chosen by the SEC coaches? Let me guess... that rewarded him for supposedly shanking a punt vs them every game?

I'm ready for a Japanese Sumo punter. If he puts his weight into it he'll kick it out of BR.

Don't you think that perhaps his pre-kick ritual of stomping down with one foot following by doing the same with the other might risk blocks...or if done earlier, delay of game? That was funny!!!

To compound on this

LSU was 7th in the nation last season in net punting average, that's a great stat.

Jamie Keehn was great this year--the year before, not so much. He'll improve this year, I'd bet.
