Not only do we have Devin now, but by bringing him Phillips and hopefully Gay or Taylor (or both?) and bringing in Damone Clark and hopefully more next year, I'm genuinely excited about what Aranda is about to do for this defense. You win in the trenches, and we are making our front 7 with potential to be historic. Things are looking up boys let's ride

247 Divinity
Not to mention Michael Divinity. I feel like some people are forgetting about him. 247 had him as a 5* and #1 OLB for a reason. Kid is going to be a stud.

Why does everyone forget about queen in this class. This whole defense will be loaded with studs!

If we land Gay and Taylor, this will be the best LB class LSU has ever in my opinion.

Rahsaan thornton will step up this year at olb. The kid is a well built physical specimen and has a point to prove. Can't forget about him

It does seem like Divinity and a few other guys on the roster are getting lost in all of the hoopla. That's why Devin White was reminding people that we have some beasts already on the roster.

From a rankings standpoint and just purely on paper, we're probably going to have the most talent we've ever had in the LBer corp. It's possible that the four starting LBers next season were all ranked in the top 5 at their position.

And Sci Martin, Isaiah Washington, Donnie Alexander, Devin Voorhies; all have good potential.

I'm aggravated that the LB roster has been so mismanaged over the years. It shouldn't even come to this point.

Deon Jones, a stud that is tearing it up in the NFL, and he didn't start at LB until his last year???? WTF!

The same is true of Duke Riley. He was great this year. Didn't start until he was a senior???? WTF!

I believe this will all change under Aranda, but until now, you have to scratch your head.

Will be interesting to see where M.D. lines up this Spring. I could see with his size/frame, and athleticism a move to ILB. Would be a solid rotation of White, Alexander and Divinity (gotta have at least 3). We generally don't play much 4 LB's and you certainly don't see M.D. getting many reps with Key still here at OLB/DE. IMO, no doubt the young man has the skill sets; we need to get him on the field and turn him lose like Devin.

Minter didn't get plugged in well into his later years either.
