I thought I read that he had an impressive camp.

Damn. Was kind of hoping he would get one. Seems like a good athlete and good kid.

He is.... the numbers just ain't in his favor.... just like a couple of other guys i mentioned in another thread, in MOST years, he's a take in this class, but this year, there are just too many other players at positions of need that LSU has rated higher than him and he's gonna have to ball somewhere else.... unfortunate, but that's the nature of the beast.... best he could hope for is someone, at the last minute, opts out but if not, he's not part of this class....

he could always be a "preferred walkon" though....

Dude still has Lsu commit on his twitter page. I feel kind of sorry for the kid, unless he's taking a grayshirt.

You would think one of the pay sites would've interviewed him about his situation by now.

grayshirt.

considering Fournette and the other RB's that are targets next cycle.... that's even harder to fathom than "LSU commit", actually....

as far as his twitter, don't know what to tell him.... but if he was a commit, we'd ALL know by now... i could see the staff telling a Gilmore or Seals-Jones to keep quiet about a verbal at this point, but considering we aren't really fighting any other schools for this kid, that would be applicable here with Taylor.....

hope he does find a home and when he does, that he has success...

Dang hate that for him. He seems like a great athlete and the kind you want at LSU because he wants to be a tiger so bad. As stated earlier it seems the numbers aren't in his favor this year. I'd love to have him in this class, but it seems the only way would be if we missed out on a lot of other prospects. Just curious does he play defense also?

he may, but he won't in college.... he's a RB, period, at the next level....

it's all good.... he'll get a full ride somewhere.... and keep in mind, we can't get ALL of them.... it's just the nature of the game.... win some, lose some, then greyshirt the rest....

Hoping we could have taken him...

Best of luck Adam where ever you go.

Some of us here will be pulling for him.

Some think we are burning this kid. Not every kid that wants to go to LSU can. Same with every program. I dont think we see ware, ford and blue all jet next year. Still leaves us with the two guys we all thought would be stars, hill and hilliard, Magee and one of the 3 others. We would still have a loaded backfield.

Watching his highlights, he'd be silly to walk on here. D-1 talent that will get a full ride somewhere. It would be awesome if he wanted to be a Tiger that bad though.

Have you thought that LSU might have told him wait and see how the knee holds up this season?

He is already my favorite recruit because of the mature way he has handled this whole thing. If he walked on because he just wanted to be a Tiger, now that would be awesone. This kid is really good. There are tons of schools that would love to have him. Plenty in tge SEC.

Right, just the ones who are offered and fulfill the conditions of that offer, if conditional. If LSU reneges on it's word, it would be a blight on our record of integrity.

LSU isn't every program. It isn't a matter of the disposition of our backfield, it's a matter of honor. Do we keep our word, or let ends justify means? Grayshirts in this class seem like the only way out of this number crunch that salvages our reputation and good name.

When appropriate, the staff owes its alum and fan base a public explanation regarding this young man and an accounting to guarantee we did the right thing in this matter. It does not matter if our sports teams represent the university with excellence if the university itself fails to maintain the highest ethical standards and moral values. When expediency trumps principle, we have lost what truly matters.

Good Lord...Quit being a naive clown. The only condition on these offers is whether the head coach will accept the offer at the time the player decides. Things change from the time the offer is made to the acceptance decision. Priorities change based on who has already been accepted and who remains on the board. Slow playing him is not deceiving him because if the right set of circumstances unfold, they probably will take him. The rules of the game cause things to play out this way and it's not unprincipled.
