Local BR radio tonight...can't remember how he worded it but basically said the only drama for LSU would be whether or not they have to play against him (Bama) or not (Miami).

Said O and Craig have worked hard but kid wants to leave the state.

Gay was at the State bball game tonight decked out in State gear and so was his brother. He was also hanging out with Leo Lewis at the game.Gay's mom and brother are never gonna let him leave Starkville for college sadly.

These kids final goal is to go as high in the draft as they possibly can and get developed along the way. I'm sure they love State but Willie seems like a smart kid and he knows playing under Aranda is special. And LSU ain't that far away at all. Hell, he was COMMITTED to Ole Miss at one point. Can he and his family really be THAT big of State fans if he committed to Ole Miss at one point? I think we get him.

Willie committed to Ole Miss without their blessing to get paid was as simple as that he was never going to sign there. After talking to a few people tonight(I went to watch the game) that spoke to Willie we are chasing State and it's not the other way around. He and Leo Lewis are very tight they also signed his best friend in February that I wasn't aware of till tonight.

We'll see but this kid loves to play up to the media. He did it with Ole Miss,he did it with Michigan, and now to LSU.He has a big signing day tv event that's been planned for two months.I would not fall for what's happening here.

So you're saying Ole Miss pays recruits before they even sign on the dotted line? I don't believe that. Not saying you're lying or anything but that just goes against logic. If Ole Miss paid recruits for just a commitment before they signed Ole Miss would have the highest commitment-decommitment rate in history.

Why do you think Jeffery Simmons and Leo Lewis were interviewed by the NCAA about Ole Miss last month? It sure wasn't to ask them their thoughts on the Grove.Anytime Ole Miss had Barney Farrar on a kid you can bet your arse the kid got a taste of Ole Miss perks. He was on Simmons,Lewis, and Gay to name a few.Three kids they thought they had after putting a down payment on.

Don't act like his dad being the strength coach has nothing to do with his offer. He is the lowest ranked recruit besides the fullback.

Just to get my predictions down on paper

We get:
Marvin Wilson
Todd Harris - Just something about it makes me think it has been and will be LSU
Phidarian Mathis
Jacob Phillips - To much momentum for us and he initially wanted to commit to us
Travis Ettienne - Home team will win out
Racey Mcmath
Justin Harris
If there is room then add Amik Robertson

Not a spectacular finish but respectable.

Not getting:
Willie Gay - Never bought what he was saying
Chaisson - To much pressure to stay and go to UT although I think he truly wants to be the next Arden Key.
Devonta Smith - Never saw him coming here. Only way he ends up here is his spot gets taken at Bama.
Ellis Brooks, Tyler Taylor, Markeviest Bryant, Nico Collins - Process never seemed to heat up and get going. Any of these four could have a drastic shift closer to signing day if they are pushed out of another class though and see a better opportunity here.
Chris Allen - To many things playing right for Bama

I think all of our predictions will change between now and signing day. I'll wait until all the in-home, official, and unofficial visits take place before I make any more guesses.

I noticed all the downvotes and was thinking, damn, tough crowd. I just realized that everybody probably read that as Dil-uhn Moses instead of Die-lahn. I swear to God that was totally unintended to be a Moses reference.
