Eight spots left, needs are paramount and wants are plentiful. Who do you WANT in the final 8?

Bookmarked for after lunch

but cliffs
-errrrbody

Marvin & Mathis
Chaisson
Phillips
Gay
Etienne
Harris Or Amik
Brooks Or Taylor
Smith or McMath

-That's nine, and I don't think we get more than seven by NSD.
-I dont think we get Chaisson, Gay, Smith, Allen, or Taylor.
-I don't think we take both Harris and Amik.
-I honestly don't know the Brooks recruiting story or how its gone, I just want an LB there.
-I think Gay stays in Mississippi like Leo.
-I want Chaisson but I think its a tough pull and I think UT makes a pitch that he can't turn down about him turning the program around.
-Interesting to see you put Smith in your group as a want, I don't think he would be there if this was a prediction thread.

Just my thoughts

That's best case imo. Allen ends up at Bama. If they go 9 more I'd take J. Harris/A.Robertson.

Chris Allen if he want in would replace anyone except Wilson
Amik if Harris isn't there
If we go 9 McMath

If we retain everyone already committed, that's our best group of players we have a shot at I feel. You tell us...

Priority should be on Wilson, Chiasson, Etienne and Phillips.

I would be really heavy in the front 7

Marvin Wilson
K'Lavon Chaisson
Chris Allen
Phidarian Mathis
Jacob Phillips
Tyler Taylor
Devonta Smith
Todd Harris/Amik Robertson

I'd be torn on Amik and Todd. Todd isn't as much of a need, being they signed two safeties, but he's too good to pass up. Amik brings a lot to the table, and I would plug him in as punt returner, expecting him to compete for the starting nickel spot no later than year two.

Linebacker depth is really bad, especially inside, which also hurts special teams. I would sign those four backers, and move Patrick Queen to running back. That could be a starting group for years to come--every piece they would need.

Jimmy, I might be asking you to reach here, but can you give us a % chance of lading the big 7 or 8 guys:
Wilson 75%
Chaisson 40%
Phillips 65%
Gay 90%
Mathis 60%
Brooks 50%
Harris 30%
Etienne 60%
Smith 30%
That's my totally pedestrian estimates, where do you lie?

I can see moving Amik to runningback. add about 20lbs and he is already great with the ball in his hands
