I believe he is cerebral enough to play MLB. There isn't a huge difference in the type of player you have to be physically as an OLB compared to a MLB. Which honestly he's gifted enough to play either one. But MLB is more often than not you're "QB" of the defense. He has to be football smart and be a leader. I think Clifton is both of those which is why I think it's going to be hard to keep him off the field next year. I think it'll start slow and he'll split time and then his play will keep him in a starting spot somewhere. This guy is special as a LBer. He attacks the gaps, he scrapes past blocks to the ball and he wraps up even when he knows he's bringing a guy down with just the contact that he brings. MY FAVORITE RECRUIT
