Each cycle, 247Sports names 32 five-stars. The current tally of five-stars by 247Sports sits at 22 at this late juncture in the cycle. There are a handful of prospects at the Under Armour All-America Game under heavy consideration to receive that final star.

LSU safety commits JaCoby Stevens and Grant Delpit, along with Alabama wide receiver commit Jerry Jeudy, currently rank within that top 32, but none has that fifth star just yet. With good showings this week, all could add a star shortly after the new year.

Bellaire (Texas) Episcopal defensive tackle Marvin Wilson is the only uncommitted five-star taking part in the Under Armour All-America Game. The 6-foot-4, 330-pounder’s recruitment will certainly be a focal point even though he is not scheduled to announce a commitment during the week.

The general feeling is LSU currently leads both Ohio State and Florida State for Wilson. All three programs are heavy hitters on the recruiting trail, which adds more intrigue to this recruitment heading down the stretch.

The Buckeyes and Seminoles have already burned their official visits on Wilson. The Tigers will get an official visit in January. There is buzz that Southern California could potentially get the talented defensive tackle on campus next month as well.
