By far he is a Cam Cameron type QB. Tall, athletic, good football IQ, good arm, and good vision. The biggest one, humble...

He lets his playing do all the talking. I think he is going to be great.

High hopes for this kid. If he keeps developing and continues to out work the competition this guy is going to be special. He's got the height and weight you want in a QB. He's smart with the ball and his father is a master seargant, so there is going to be some leadership qualities there. Looks like he has a great family behind him to keep him humble and he's a dual sport athlete so he will probably be to busy to get into too much frouble

He's gonna be good. I know the tone around here was shifting towards "Shea is better", but Franks has a higher ceiling in my opinion. He's Perriloux, Kiel, and Zack Lee good. He'll be the missing piece in an extremely "close to complete" puzzle.

Yep! And you get an upvote.

Very impressive that 9 of 14 SEC schools offered Franks and he chose LSU. The 5 that did not (Ark, TA&M, Missouri, Aub, and SC) may have but were not listed on ESPNs list.

Cannot help but think the coaches visits a couple of weeks ago to see Franks and then Patterson was to gage the Franks commitment and then the trip to see Patterson was to let the family know LSU's priority.

so you say something about 3 threads of an uncommitted qb but when someone creates a thread thats similar to the one you started you call them out...you looking for a pat on the back ? you said yourself ...show the man some love...that is in fact what the OP is trying to do

Here's amateur footage of Franks in 2013:

godby vs wakulla (Frank's' team)

Franks is #18 in the white jersey. You hear a guy in the Godby crowd at the 1:00 mark say "Their quarterback is good!"

Fyi, Franks kicks off and punts for the team, too.

Harris then transition to Franks this will position LSU for vast improvement at the qb position.

C'mon, you got it right once..."too".

Also, "Frouble" is trouble other teams will have with Franks.

Imagine how good he could be behind a line that can block. Also, does he wear no 18 for LSU considering the history behind that number.

The guy looks like an absolute beast already. His father being an Army senior NCO is icing on the cake. This dude will come in here with discipline it takes others years to obtain.

He's got outstanding size, he's mobile, rocket arm, and seems to be smart. Can't ask for much more.
