Or similar to Bobby Fisher's opinion of Jeremy Schaap.

Fun fact: Scott Drew's dad was on Dale Brown's first staff at LSU.

@TheRecruitScoop: JUCO guard Gerry Blakes has committed to Arizona State while on an official visit, according to @ASUDevilscom.

Were y'all recruiting this guy hard?

Yeah we had him in for a visit last week but most in the know assumed that he would stay on the west coast

Starting to get a little worried about this class. Need someone to get some positive momentum for us.

Seriously you'd think the class we pulled in would help out with recruiting.

We've lost out on every single target so far...and it's not like it's just been a few guys.

Apparently Newberry's visit went really well, so hopefully he pulls the trigger soon.

I think the plan has been to sign two guards, a juco and a high school guy and that could still be in play with miles reynolds and Jeff newberry

The plan is to sign one JUCO and one HS guard. From what I've been hearing, the staff liked Newberry over Blakes, and then Magee over Reynold for the other spot.

Really wish the staff would take a look at Johnathan Stove (Christian Life) or Trey touchet (STM).. Stove really tore it up in the EYBL this past season. Touchet can shoot the lights out

Isn't Stove an undersized forward like Bridgewater?

I know Touchet is on radar, but apparently he didn't do well on EYBL.

Stove has much better handles and is quicker than Bridgewater. saw both play this past year. Bridge is a 3 with the ability to play an undersized 4 and stove is a 3 with the ability to play the 2.
