Best of luck to Tony. No hard feelings rather take players like Jamal and Ed who bleed purple and gold than someone who doesn't.

this is noy about wheelchair ramps

it is 190 miles from Beaumont to Baton Rouge
it is 531 miles from Beaumont to Tuscaloosa

His dad had a debilitating stroke so how is playing 340 miles farther away "better" for his family?

Kid was afraid to compete.

Didn't like it that LSU had two freshmen corners

TB and Saban are very alike..when he didnt perform well at the camps he practically threw a tantrum and cried..same thing Saban does..theyre meant to be..

Man this post sounds butt hurt. I bet you weren't saying this a week ago at this time. You, like everyone else, were hoping he'd be part of the 5 for 5 day. It didn't work out.

Kids go where they feel is best for them. I've not seen any Bama fans bitching about Winston going to FSU or saying he was "scared of competition" at Bama. Why do we have to act like this on this board? You wanted him at LSU like every other Tiger fan did. Quit slamming the kid because he didn't pick your favorite school. He handled himself well all along, IMO.

Why keep a school hanging?

I think some staffs are pushing some kids to do this really. They really have nothing to gain by lying, but bama sure does by keeping us from moving on to other prospects

Damn...this kid sounds like he had no intentions on going to LSU. What i don't get is the lying...just say you don't want to freaking go to LSU and move on.

None of us knows exactly what he said to the staff. What could have been intepreted as a strong verbal was in fact a very soft verbal or something wishy washy.

Kids aren't bad people. They don't want to let anyone down. They crave attention and being liked, so they say something non-committal to appease the hundreds of people that ask them where they're going all of the time. They want to avoid the kind of stuff that TB is having said about him in this very thread. What they want is to go to school where they want to go, and have all sides still like them after the fact, which is not possible. Some kids realize that early on, others don't.

I doubt he told the staff that he is 100%, no BS all LSU and they should have nothing to worry about. He probaly said something wishy washy like "If I had to pick right now, it'd be LSU."
