It's a very good class. We'll have half the class as major contributors. That's good for any class, at any school.

One year like this is OK. You don't want to string 2 or 3 years together. Les doesn't have a history of doing that though

I expect these players to be starters by the '14 season at the latest...

Not to mention players like RFeist/LPhillips/CThompson/DThomas/JSandolph.

BTW, AJohnson & FFanaika will play football at LSU. I would also venture to say that 80% of that '12 class will be in the 2-deep by 2014.

If this is all true and we end up with 10-11 starters/major contributors out of the 2012 Class, then it is a GREAT class. We lost some guys, but it looks like we have some guys coming in who can play.

Ease up on the guy. He just made a fairly objective analysis.

I agree that we will see that the '12 class when all is said and done will be a good one. And for those who do not make it for whatever reason, we will just replace them with a reloaded next class. We will always be able to attract the numbers of high 3* and above guys to fill our slots.
