Wasn't a star filled class but still a lot of good players.. I have high hopes for alexander hunter louis & thompson ... I also like travin dural & hill ... atleast 1 of the corners will be good also & the 1 wr is fast as hell he might be good eventually

i think we still had a good class.. not a top ranked class but we filled our needs.
I know everyone doesn't want to hear about LC anymore but it definetly sucks cause now his mom is a tide fan and wants her other son to go to bama too so she can see both her kids play. I've seen some quotes on twitter of her saying roll tide now

With a team as deep as lsu, and still several freshman who will hv a chance to play this fall tells me we got some good athletes. And lc's momma can move to bama for all I care along with gw. Look at our dline history. Gw won't make a diff.if he wants to be a gump let him. We are still the best team in second this decade

By recent standards, the 2012 class has many more issues than other classes. A reasonable person looking at things in an objective manner cannot disagree.
Does that mean no productive players will come out of the 2012 class. Of course not. Does the loss of several highly regarded players out of the class due to grades mean the class (that was rated low by LSU standards) would be rated even lower? Absolutely.
I like how people assume that Avery is going to be back in January. How many times has LSU had a player not qualify that actually ended up at LSU after a year or two of prep school/JUCO? The answer is not many.
