Was talking to an area coach last night and we were disussing how talented this kid was and about how he had one of the liveliest arms to come out of the EBRP area in a while. He said he was catching at LSU-E, but that was the last he heard. Does anyone have an update on this kid and if LSU is still recruiting him. Really unfortunate him nor Southall worked out. You really can't afford to miss out on kids now w/ the scholarship limitations

2011 LSUE Stats

He is not tearing the cover off the ball, but he has decent numbers.

joey b, t. watkins, and r. rymes are all from lsu-e. the talent level is different from playing s.e.c. ball.

He does not play catcher. He platoons at second and is used in long relief/closer role. Struggled early in the year with command. But, has been extremely dominant in his last few outings.

Any word on whether or not he'll get another shot at LSU? Also, I wonder where Wet Delatte is going after this year.

Amazing how he couldn't sniff it in the SEC, goes to LSUE and now wants to enter the draft

I don't think Burris is in the fold, probably needs to stay one more year at LSU E

Wet is not coming back to LSU, if not draft, he'll go elsewhere (probably a school that will allow him to pitch and play a position-small LA school)

Lefty hitter, pretty good speed. He could probably help us this year.

What about this kid?

Pretty good skills, good power for size. Throws left, bats left. Needs to add about 20 lbs to his frame, but does have good power-20 doubles and 5 hr's with a BBCore is pretty good. I doubt, however he gets an LSU offer...
