Any chance any of them may be heading the Tigers way?

I hear their Center is pretty good

Bama players’ discontent is growing, they all want to be paid more.

There are scholarship limits. LSU can’t take everyone who enters. LSU is already over the limit

They've either proven that they can't compete or decided that they don't want to compete for a perennial playoff contending program.
Why would we want any of them here?

I'd take a chance on the center. He'll be after blood. The snapping issues proabaly result from an inability to understand Milroe's lisp

we don't need no more aaron andersons

Do not get me wrong, I am glad to see Bama lose players to the portal but Something has to be done with this transfer portal.
How are coaches able to manage their rosters when they don’t know what players will be on the roster? When the portal started, it seemed like only the rich would get richer but this cycle we have seen many starters and quality backups leave prominent teams. It’s insane.

Did you study click bait media advertising?
Are those 11 starters and/or contributors or 11 back ups? Big difference. Who would know by that title if any guys that LSU wants? Just because they are at Bama doesn't necessarily mean they should be at LSU.

Players leave for $$$.
Some of these are backups leaving but that’s a big deal. quality depth is what wins games. Bama used to just reload the OL and DL throughout the game and wear teams out. That quality depth is declining as players head to greener pastures with ease.
Alabama is way behind in their ability to fund NIL.
First of all, alabama is fairly poor, with little business interest in promoting these players. Secondly, They’re disorganized. They didn’t get out ahead of it with a central fund like tamu and LSU did.
That said, lsu is facing a problem too as funding is limited. Guys like Gordon McKernon are few and far between and he’s at the top of the funding chart! Gordon only pays out between 500-$1mm to support NiL. That’s nothing.
Texas has hundreds of guys paying that kind of money in addition to people paying 10’s of millions. They have money pouring in!
All of this was bound to happen too. Easily predicted. NIL was always going to benefit the schools with deep pockets supporting them with major alum and large corporate support.
It’s just not suitable for many of the SEC schools

Slim pickings like most portal potty kids.
And anyway, what's worse, a Gump or an ex-Gump?

the portal is good for the center. the kid is receiving death threats on social media. in this case it's a safety measure

Shazz Preston is from St. James and was an LSU recruit!

I think there is more to it. You go there and put up with sitting and waiting because you are told you will get a chance to play for a team that will win a championship. Now if you showed up in 2021 and have been sitting, you still haven't got a ring, haven't played, and don't see the team improving much, if at all, going forward.
Or they are just looking for money
Who knows these days.
