Mom is in Old Gretna. She's too old to get out and survey damage but said "lots of things are down.". Power out since early Tues morn. Concerned for her and other seniors having to sweat this out. No flooding though.

Where at in Old Gretna is your mom? I'm near 4th/Lafayette. A little damage... one tree came down on a house... but really nothing too horrific. A lot of limbs, power lines, etc. Power here running at about 50%. Lots of LE/Fire/EMS presence if it's needed.

Thanks for the info

Senior center apartments located at St Joseph's. I think things are stable there except for not having power. Said she's having to go to a bldg at the school to recharge her phone. Some of her neighbors at the center are pretty old and fragile. Hope power gets restored there in a day or two.

Looking at the radar, it looks like Baton Rouge might experience at least another little band, I'm referring to the one just south of us. Is this accurate?

Yeah that sounds accurate. I was looking at that on the radar a little while ago. Starting to get windy here again. Maybe 30 mph gusts. It was calm this morning.

That would be funny if we lost our power after having it on all day yesterday and last night.

Mine came on about 1/2 hour ago.

Had to act like a bitch just to have a guy come look. Called them and told them the problem. 5 mins and power was back on.

I'm in Lakeview NOLA (Lakewood south) and had power all through the storm up until 2 hours ago. I think getting power to everyone else they had to take everything with power down to change a few poles.
