There's really no reason for any office in EBR to be closed tomorrow. This thing won't even start shite til Tuesday evening.

The right decision and what actually is decided are 2 wildly different things.

For the sake of ppl evacing and everything not being a clusterfrick preempted closures are better than then alternative. Personally I need to drive to mandeville to help evac my MIL and her father and get them to Shreveport.. So a closure on Monday wouldn't be bad

Yeah EBR closing tomorrow would be a joke.

And in saying that let's close LSU please.

But really LSU will be open tomorrow but I bet it's closed all day Tuesday.

Exactly. We won't know where this thing is for sure going until tomorrow morning, I think.

If evacuations for NOLA/NOLA area are called, then it would probably be a good idea for things to start shutting down tomorrow afternoon for the sake of preventing another car-meggedon and whatnot.

My dad rebuilt that house in River Ridge to be ultimately hurricane proof.

Considering evacuating to his crib.

How about because the roads are a cluster during the last minute evacs and no one wants to be stuck in traffic in BR while they could be preparing and settling in? Oh and I teach so bite me. Close the schools.

So does Loyola, although they said the teachers will be lenient with attendance policies. I'll take that as an excused absence.

Don't perpetuate the myth that teachers are underpaid. TSAOOC (teacher salaries are out of control)
