The pleasure of woodworking for me is making a piece as I go. I typically don’t follow plans and love the way things come together as I go. Power tools don’t get in the way of that.

You need to do what works for you, but what I have found is that hand tools have given me options for precision that can be challenging with power tools.
I can shave miters by a thousandth of an inch, hand planing wood to remove planer marks is faster, easier, and less dusty than sanding them out, and hand chopping mortises and hand sawing tenons is just very enjoyable. Hand cut dovetails are more aesthetically pleasing to the eye than machine cut ones.
I just wish I had discovered the joys of hand tools 35 years ago, instead of 5 years ago.

That’s a good saw. Bought one used with accessories about two years ago for 1800.

If I were to design a work shop my first consideration would be an outdoor vacuum system. Also, proper ventilation other than just opening a door or window. High quality wood warps at certain humidities and temperature. A wood shop should have different priorities than say an auto shop.

Spend the cash on the table saw. Keep your eye out on fb and the woodworking forums for the rest. I have both a delta contractor saw and a unisaw - 70’s model. I bolted them together and put them on a common mobile base. One for dados and one for cutting.
I had a router in the wing and used it like that for years, then I built a router table with an expensive lift and I hardly use it.
I have a 12” jointer and a 16” planar. Both from the 70’s and probably 5000lbs between them. They are nice, but overkill. I did a lot of work with a bench top planer and no jointer.
Buy the best tools in each category. You will always love using them. If you can’t afford the best, save.
I bought the festool miter saw, and I would not recommend it. Too much money for not much benefit over the competition. Their sanders, and the domino, priceless. I would buy them again immediately.

My biggest regret is buying a table saw from Lowe’s. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great little saw, but in the end it’s made for taking to the work location. It really limits you in a home shop.
Wish I had one of those old monster table saws like highschool shops used to have. The type you could sit 8 people around if it was a dinner table.

Shop tools I'd not want to do without and have in my home shop:
Table saw
Radial arm saw
Jointer----6 inch used mainly to true up edges for glue-up
Planer-----13" wide by 6" deep for surface planing
Designated router table with 3 HP router for shaping work
12" Bandsaw
Good 1/2" shank carbide tipped router bits for shaping on router table
Least used big tool for woodworking-----Drill Press
On my "Want List"-----dust collection system.
