Looking for some actual 1/2 inch pine boards for a project. I don't have access to a planer to take down a 3/4 inch thick board to 1/2.

Local mill might have something close. Generally, even precision milled stuff is always made with a little extra material for the end user. How wide are the boards? I've ripped 6" wide boards out of thicker material with a good table saw. Will be some sanding afterwards but it's doable.

If you’re in BR, try service lumber on Oak Villa.

Service will have 1/2" stuff, but they aren't going to be straight edged.

Both Lowes and Home Depot has a section with 1/2" and 1/4"poplar and some pine up to 4' long. Surfaced on 4 sides. Not cheap but it is there.

Milton Fence Company out of Hammond. They installed a fence for me in my last house using 1/2" pine. They were the only ones around that had it

I think this is in little bins directly under the longer 1x boards of the same species.
