Has anyone put in an inground gunite pool recently?

If so, how much did it run you for everything?
And who did you use?

Thanks-
NB4 don’t put in a pool. I’m stupid. It’s a waste. I won’t get my money back.

That’s probably close with no hot tub or no decking around the pool. Budget 65k if you want a hot tub and decking.

Just finished one
Basic 15x30 was $40K
Add tanning ledge and raised wall $45K
Add travertine $50K
Add hot tub $60K

And it can only go up from there depending on size and material selection

In GA. About 90% complete with a 16’x 32’ kidney shaped gunite pool with Pebble Tec and heater. Also have stone coping and about 800 SF of flagstone. All in about $67,000. Does not include any landscaping or tree removal.

Miserable experience if you have dogs that like to use the backyard. The pool contractors in GA are so busy they may put in only 1-2 days per week. And they don’t really negotiate. Have all the work they can handle.

I have ben involved in the pool business since 1978
don't listen to the nay sayers, but be sure you really need alot of the ancillary things that drive up the price
most of the high tech automation products are not proven, very expensive, and don't last
put your pool on mechanical timers and find the best salt system you an get (do not buy pentair intellichlor system)

My pool is gunite and needs to be replaced because it’s almost 30 years old. We are having it done this summer. Depending on some options it’s gonna range between $9k-$11k. We live in Florida though.

Just had one built and finished in April in BR. 14x32 goes from 3.5' to 6'. Fire rock coping with 410 sq ft of white concrete decking. $48k all in. No landscaping, but did do some underground drainage piping.

I had a pool put in during home construction last year in Mandeville. 16x32 with elevated hot tub, 3.5 - 6.5 depth, gunite, 1100 sq ft travertine deck over slab, all in for about $90K. My builder wasn’t the cheapest but it is rock solid.
