YES! We can't figure it out! Have been doing the apple cider vinegar/Dawn trick and it's helping but they are definitely more active this year.

No, but I think something did die right under the house. Would I be able to smell it?

Flies seem unrelated though. They are fairly scattered and don’t hang out in one area.

Just killed 5-6 in the hall bathroom.

Looks like I’ll be looking for one of those bag traps tomorrow. That ought to draw them all outside.

I talked to Orkin the other day and they told me everybody is having problems with them. FWIW.

So bad.

I got the rescue TrapStik off Amazon. It’s only ok. Hideous to have hanging in the kitchen and then has dead or half dead flies all over it. Not the most attractive thing

Bought a fly trap thing called “Pop!” I think but you drop a packet in the cannister and fill with water. Attracts them in and they can’t get out and die…only problem is have to put away from house a little bit bc it attracts flies from all over… works though

They show up anytime I fire up the grill. I get them inside but that is because my kids can’t close a fricking door quickly behind them. Just stand there letting all the AC out and flies in. I have become a black belt at killing them with a kitchen hand towel. Wife gets pissy when I start shooting my Bug a Salt in the house so I drink and kill them by the dozens while grilling. I have sprayed Talstar on the walls and around the grill outside and it has helped a little. I have two traps on the far end of the yard and I don’t think it makes a dent into them

Get an a-salt gun on amazon. Kills those suckers and is fun too.
