Anyone on here used old/dead bamboo for anything around the house/garden?

My grandparent’s bamboo trees died during the winter/spring. They thought they’d grow back green during the summer/rainy season, and now have come to grips that they’re dead

I was just going to cut them all down and dump them, but I’d like to not waste them in case there’s something they can be used for.

I was under the impression bamboo needs to be cut alive (green) and treated right after cutting, but I might be mistaken.

Is there any point in putting time/effort into building them a fence or some project with them being dead for months now?

Any suggestions on what to treat/stain them with, or what you’d do with thousands of feet of dead, dried-out bamboo trees (approximately 40+ feet tall each)

I made a windsock flagpole with one and rigged a pulley system to lower my beer hop bines (vines) to harvest the cones but that didn't work well. I used my propane torch to burn the green off the bamboo which helps preserve them. I e seen people make garden fences and trellises with them

Trellises, cut a bunch of and make a solitary bee house, let your kids beat the hell out of each other, duck blind, garden stakes.

You could probably make a lot of wind chimes.

Location? Oyster farmers use em to mark their beds, marine surveyors use them heavily., start your own cane pole fishing rod company with “ limited” editions.

I know a guy looking for some to use to raise his external antenna for his SPYPOINT game camera. As someone else said, brush piles for fishing.
