I just used it to get rid of the BS forums I never use. Movie, politics, soccer etc

I put my most visited forums in descending order of use
OT
Rant
SECr
Poli
Outdoor
Etc.
Having all my favorites lined up made it quicker/easier to find them, and less chance of clicking the ones I don't frequent... I use mobile exclusively, sometimes my fat thumb gets in the way

We are discussing giving users the ability to sort the Forums in the list. That would solve your issue. Stay tuned.

Why the change for the original list? I enjoyed having my custom list cause I didn't have to look among the boards I rarely use. It was a good feature that worked.

Yeah on Mobile I enjoyed after I scrolled through the page of threads, at the bottom I had my list of boards from my favorite/most visited to least visited st the bottom of the page on mobile and it was easy for me to just click the next board that I'd want to scroll down and read the thread topics....
Today i noticed it went back to the default listing and I got a sad... I went back on to desktop mode and re-customized my list and went back to mobile and BAM it reset again back to default and gave me a sad.
Oh well :/

That's the exact way I used the customizable board. I too had them in descending order of use.

I enjoyed having My Forums in a single place because I would just go through the same five or so in order of priority to me. This accomplished two things. As others mentioned, it was quicker because I did not have to scroll through the complete list. The other thing is, arranging by priority enabled me to view what was most important to me in the event that I am interrupted or only have a few minutes to get on.

I also used it to cull the boards I don't visit, but the biggest thing for me was smoother navigability to boards like the SEC Recruiting Board and the Mizzou board, which aren't just one click away from somewhere like the M/TV board. That's why I really liked the customization. But if sorting them allows for me to put those boards one click away, then I'm cool with that.
But I agree that the feature was cool while it lasted. This board is so easy to use in general though that losing customization is not some catastrophic event.
