Anybody else working on these?

I am training for the following right now to keep me motivated, hopeing to complete the following by summer

quote:

100 burpees in 5 min

Gonna be a bitch. Hopefully I don't start getting knee pain.

quote:

18 pullups with bodyweight plus 25 lbs (spetsnaz challenge)

Still doing bodyweight but it's a goal by Summer time

quote:

Strict press x bodyweight for 5 reps

Hoping to have this one by end of 2019

quote:

100 pushups in 2 min & 100 sit-ups in 2 min

Hoping to have these by end of January

quote:

500 consecutive air squats

Have a long way to go on this, hope by end of summer

quote:

Strict L-sit on parralletes for 3 min
this might be the hardest one here. End of 2019 maybe. Gonna take training it everyday.

quote:

50 reps weighted incline pushup with 45 lbs with feet on 12” box

End of summer

quote:

Deadlift 2x bw for 7 or more reps
pretty close to this already

quote:

60 plus consecutive bar dips
working on it but after 25 I go dead lol

quote:

200 reps Z press with just bar in 10 min without racking

This is hard as hell, hoping by end of summer, working it 3 times a week.

quote:

Overhead squat x bodyweight x 15 reps

Have a long ways to go on this. Prolly have 18 months of training this as it is just part of my warm up right now progressively loading weight to the bar.

quote:

Bench x bodyweight x 15 reps

By summer I should have this.

quote:

400m dash under 60s

Dunno if this is possible but I am training it once a week right now. I am a slow frick.

quote:

13 down under 7:30

This will be done by end of March

quote:

Press- bodyweight
Clean-1.5 x bodyweight
Bench-1.5x bodyweight
Squat-2 x bodyweight
Deadlift-2.5 x bodyweight
Chins-20 reps

Goal is to smash all of these for 5 reps by end of 2019. Gonna take a lot of consistency. Something I haven't had a ton of last two months.

Also doing
Row 2k under 7 min
Row 500m in 90s- within 4-5s of this now
100 curls with bar.

Lmk if anybody else is chasing any of these.

I'm 2 for 3 with bench lagging. Current goal is to get bench to 1.5 without sacrificing the other 2.

I'd give the double BW farmer's walk for 100 M a go if I was near a track. I do a lot of heavier loaded carries, so I like that.

My big strongman goal is now that I finally cleaned my 300 LB sandbag, I need to start cleaning it and walking with it.

This is crazy impressive to me. I am so far behind you in this catagory it's not even funny.

I'm hoping to press my 100lb sandball for reps by March.

I’m doing a cycling one now on Strava- 8000 meters of elevation cycling in a month. As of today the twelfth I’ve got in 10,000 feet so I’m doing well but it is a biyotch for sure.

Thanks. I probably should give the caveat that I haven't weighed my 3 bags, and just use Rogue's listed capacity weight since they're filled basically to capacity.

I lag others in some lifts, so I can't exactly get cocky. Anything posterior chain and hip drive related is usually my wheelhouse. I did a lot of power cleans, etc with sports growing up.

Finally a lift longer arms help with too. I really should try some of the cardio challenges. My cardio is always lagging.

mine too, thats why i satarted trying to get some of the shorter challenges. I have no desire to pass devgru legacy or run more than a mile or 2 max. But I like being able to go if need be.

I don't need my wife pissed at me for breaking our bathroom scale. Plus, I care more about progressing to heavier and heavier ones than I care about what the true capacity is. The 300 pounder is bigger and heavier than the 250, so as long as I'm moving up...

I'm proud enough that I have video to preserve the moment.

I can do the following

quote:

100 pushups in 2 min

quote:

Strict press x bodyweight for 5 reps

quote:

Deadlift 2x bw for 7 or more reps

quote:

Bench x bodyweight x 15 reps

quote:

Press- bodyweight

I also think I could do the 60 dips possibly now or with just a bit of emphasis towards it, but i haven't tried it.

This is an awesome thread, by the way. Try to do some more of these eventually.

If you are on Strava go to the "challenges" section. There are one for a single ride over 100k and also for the one I'm doing, 8000 meters of elevation in one month. I did 2000 feet yesterday and I'm going to try another 1200 at lunch today but holey shite do you get some sore dead legs.

I did Angie this evening.

100 pull ups
100 push up
100 sit ups
100 squats

My time was 18:25. I read the benchmark is about 20 minutes so happy with my time. If I trained pull-ups and sit-ups a bit more I feel like I could knock a decent chunk of my time as the push ups and squats were really no problem.

I posted in the other thread, but I'm proud, so eff it. Walked my 300 pounder around today for 3 separate trips.

That's impressive as hell on that time. 100 pullups would take me forever. I can do 12-15 if I push it on one set, but I am burned out after a set of 10+.

What is your goal right now? Just trying to maintain or add muscle while maintaining body comp?

Yeah I did 20 unbroken to start off and getting the first 45 or so weren't too bad. After that 8 was laboring pretty good. I found that instead of trying to string together 2 or 3 trying to hit quick singles was faster so if I do it again that will be the plan. They took me about 7:30 total I think.

Trying to get stronger at the moment, which is working. Doing very similar to lean gains lp that fits more into my schedule and hitting the same number of reps on all three big lifts while raising the weight each workout.

Thanks. It actually was decent. I'd cleaned it and held it for 10 seconds last week, so I was pretty confident.

I forgot the picture account I used for the pic of my garage gym or I could post a video still. I made my wife video me for proof. I'm pretty happy with cleaning and carrying that, especially at 200 lb bodyweight.

I did this again, got 15:57. Doing it a second time really improved my time. I figured out the first time to knock out a bunch of singles in pullups instead of trying to string 3 or 4 together. Only thing I feel like I could really improve on is situps.

I was set back for two weeks after my father in law passed. Back working towards them though.
