Just got an email they released the stainless steel version of the Ohio power bar for 395. I have the bare steel version and it is a fantastic bar.

Will be my next bar purchase for sure.

What are the pros and cons of the three finishes?

Bare - Cheapest and best feeling. However, needs to be maintained with WD40 or 3in1 oil occasionally. I usually do it every week so far. Might have to do it less in the less humid winter months
Zinc Oxide - More rust resistant but the coating of the Zinc makes the feeling not as good and the aggressiveness of the knurling fades a little.
SS- Almost same feeling as the Bare without the maintenance. Cost is higher.

Just when I thought I had my bar picked out. SS is tempting being in south Louisiana. I was quite worried about the bare steel rusting.

You don't want whip with squat, bench, or overhead press.
