Bloating is annoying.

And facial acne for the first time in 20 years is also annoying.

I second with 777 says. Your estrogen will rise as your testosterone rises. It should find a balance but some guys aromatize a lot and then need the AI. And it may only be for a short period. Tanking your estrogen and having your testosterone elevated will make you feel worse than before starting on anything.

agree, and I'd also suggest pinning more frequently than once/week to flatten the curve and keep the estrogen conversion down - but don't change both at the same time or you'll never know which one made a difference

personally I've never been on an AI and pin EOD my doc is happy with my numbers as I am with the results

But but he's a Dr he knows best. Can't tell you how many guys listen to the Dr, feel worse and refuse to listen to what you tell them from years of experience.

I feel obligated to mention BF at 30% as per doctor.

Body fat likely less than that as I sink like a stone.

Doing hyrdostatic testing in a month... So that should be fun.

Twice a week is what I do?

pin EOD

I did that for a week. I can't explain why given it shouldn't matter, but I was hard as a damned rock both nights. Sex didn't alleviate it nor did a couple manual cranks.

No thank you.

My concern for the estrogen is an oddly decreased libido. 6 weeks in and it was like being 15. 12 weeks in and I feel like my pre supplemented self. Twice a week sex. Maybe two or three just to get rid of the hardon when the wife's at work.

oh sorry, I missed that it was twice/week - coffee hadn't crossed the blood/brain barrier yet

You probably know it takes ~6-8 weeks for any change in protocol to stabilize

you are not bloating from normal range test

the facial acne and the bloating is due to large swings in levels. has nothing to do with estrogen.

do as you please but just going to cause you more sides in the long run.

that has to do with you just getting your levels up.

once stabilized it doesn't matter based off half life.

at 12 weeks in you should be stable if doign 2x per week and shouldnt have any issues. your free is a little on the low side but the boron will help with that

and have you tried subq injections 2x per week? better results, less sides and more stable levels.

Are you trying to get to the top of the normal range or staying there?

I do 2x per week sub q. And I wasn't arguing with you, just explaining what side effects I am seeing.

Haven't had acne since 2004. I track all calories/salt/water I consume. I weigh everything. I had 5% body weight fluctuation a few weeks in, and then shed it in the following week. I assume water weight as that would be one big deuce

As stated in OP, bumping dose by .1ml

@777 I have no commitment to the Anastrozole one way or the other. Was just concerned about the higher than normal estrogen.

I had some edema in my feet/ankles when I first started TRT similar to your 5%. It hung around a few weeks and then shed it all within a day or so never to return.

yea all good, its pretty common first 8 weeks or so to have the extra water until levels stablize. i assume you shed the water by now, especially with an AI

well with your bodyfat levels may need to stay on it a little longer just to make sure you dont get a rebound effect. if you are not hurting in the joints, errections not an issue(doesnt seem to be) , muscle fatigue...should be fine.

as you lose the bodyfat, and get below 20%, slowly start lowering that dose.

What’s the harm in anastrozole if it’s needed to keep estrogen in check?

Easy to crash your E, especially if you don't need it. You don't need it just because you are on TRT, you need if you have issues with high E. Most docs just want you to take it from the beginning no matter what.

you dont need to for most people. unless you are prone to gyno and are overweight...estro stabilizes and symptoms subside within a couple weeks, especially once test levels are stable through 2x per week shots. so unless you are hyper responder, not needed

harm in anastrozole

joints hurt like shite, errections suffer, muscles hurt

anastrozole is really potent AI and can crush estrogen which has as many or more sides than Low T.
