Consumer fewer calories and fat, and combine it with exercise. No pills needed. There is no magic pill that will make you lose weight.

Do you realize how stupid the above sounds? Because that's what you are saying. Carbs aren't the devil and neither is sugar. Keto usually works for most people because it curbs appetite and people eat less because of this.

If sugar is the debil then how come the Twinkie diet works?

Yeah it sounds stupid b/c I never said that dumbass. I'm saying keto is better than the standard diets. Then if you take it to the next step and only eat one meal a day where you get your daily calorie needs, then you can lose even more weight.

The science of fasting and its benefits is out there. Fasting for 24 hours can increase our natural HGH by up to 2000% in men and 1600% in women.

Sugar is the devil, sorry you are a fatty. No wonder why you are promoting the twinkie diet. The point about losing weight is to be more healthy, not to eat twinkies all day you fat slob.

Your fighting a battle you can't win. Please show me a study that shows any significant thermogenic effect i.e. faster fat loss when comparing IF to traditional eating and keto to an isolated caloric diet.

Let me go ahead and give you a hint....you can't. Keto does not burn fat any faster than a traditional diet when calories are the same. Same goes for 8 meals vs one meal. Sure there are health benefits but faster fat loss is not one of them

Trust me when I say I understand the benefits of OF and am a huge advocate of leangains style IF. What annoys me is people like you who don't understand science, used keto with if to lose weight and now it's the only way to do it.

I will be the first to admit there are very slight advantages to keto, IF, carb back loading etc but the bottom line is it's not going to make hardly any difference over the long run.

Dieting is a pyramid. Calories are the base, protein second. Hit those 2 goals and you are 95% of the way. Macro cycling meals timing and all the rest make up about 5% of the equation and for most people are a waste of time until they get sub 12% body fat.

Go read leangains,eat stop eat, watch James Smith videos, anything from Layne Norton, Alan argon, Lyle McDonald or any of the other authors that are science based and learn something before you attack me.

As far as you not saying what I quoted, yea you essentially did but apparently can't understand that you did. Also have you even read anything on the Twinkie diet?

Btw if I was so fat I wouldn't have posted pics on the H&F board plenty of times.

But by all means if you want to learn something I will be more than happy to teach you, but if you are going to say stupid shite, I will call you out on it.

See that is your problem fatty. With ketosis you won't have the crashes or spikes in your sugar like you do with carbs. Also eating a keto meal makes you feel fuller than if you an equivalent calories in a carb heavy meal, like pasta, etc. That is the big advantage to keto is that you eat meals that make you feel fuller b/c of the fat and not the carbs which make you crash and give you that 'hunger'.

Also when you fast you are going into ketosis as well which is why combining fasting with keto diet just goes hand in hand. Why would I go to the H&F board to look at antiquated information? It is obvious that you are one of the carb brainwashed and I doubt you care much about the latest science in keto and fasting. The latest science shows that the keto diet (no exercising) is better for you than the S.tandard A.merican D.iet and exercise.

Better as in health? Yea I know I already acknowledged that, and it's only because most people have blood sugar issues from eating like idiots. And you don't always go into ketosis when going using IF, in fact most people don't.

No offense but you are the one with antiquated info. If you are so smart post a study that proves your point.

And if you are so ripped then go ahead and post a picture. Mine is freely available on this board to look at.

Look I'm not denying that keto is good for your health. But keto doesn't do shite for weight loss calorie for calorie. If you eat less, you will lose weight. You have moved the goal post now saying keto makes you feel Fuller, it's not the fat making you feel full, it's the damn protein. You are the one that is brainwashed by the likes of Gary taubes. You should try and read a little and educate yourself.
