And if so, what are your tips and meal suggestions. Looking for a healthy yet filling meal to enjoy once a day in the 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM range, with it more than likely being around 6:30 PM after workout.
Also, can you drink coffee on a fast? I drink mine black so it's just flavored water...right?

Alot of times in the week I do...sometimes it's a snack and then big meal within 2 hours so basically the same. With only one meal the beauty is you can incorporate any big meat and potato combinations.
Cook an entire box of hamburger helper if you want

If it's just one or two cups yea I wouldn't worry about that.

I like Sten Ekberg on youtube. He has a lot of informative videos on fasting, OMAD, IM, and so on. He does a lot of research and he educates the audience very well. Check him out if you haven't yet.

Yeah just two cups in the morning. Good to know it's allowed.

I like that. Light snack to break the fast, a protein drink maybe before workout, and then dinner after.

I do that once every 4 days on my rest/cardio day. Essentially I do a 24 hour fast. For instance I'll eat dinner tonight at whatever time, and then won't consume any calories until dinner tomorrow. I usually find my body is craving carbs on that day so I'll make a cajun/rice dish tomorrow night to replenish the energy stores before lifting again on Saturday.
It's pretty hard to go 24 hours that often. I only do it when it falls on a work day. When it falls on a weekend I just do carnivore for the day instead. I've been doing this for about 3 months now and I've had some pretty positive results.

I've done it regularly for nearly 10 years. My wife has for around 8 years. I used to be very very strict about the one meal a day. Now I usually have an eating window and have a snack around 4 or 5 pm. Then dinner at 7pm or so. Then nothing to eat after that.
I've started working some 48 hour fasts in lately as well. I really want to do a 72 hour, but I think I'll have a hard time at work. Even with a 48 hour, I've noticed that I get a little distracted feeling in work meetings at hour 42 or so.
Oh, as for what to eat: basically anything. I would caution you against going absolutely nuts during the feeding period, as you can pretty easily hit your BMR+ caloric intake if you're not somewhat prudent.

Why would you do this?
Bypass the “less calories to lose weight” answer that I know.
If you most amazingly designed body requires one meal a day, please convince me why.
Why do balanced meals of protein, complex carb and veg aligned with your lifestyle with multiple times per day frequency not work for you?

I do. Eat everyday from about 6pm to 8pm. Sometimes a snack around 10pm, if still hungry. I drink 4-5 sugar free, caffeinated soft drinks during the day.
I have lost 60 pounds over the last year but I have stalled for the last 3 months. 310 to 250. 6'5".
I'm open to criticism or tips.

Good job! Only tip would be to start lifting weights if you haven’t already.

I do something similar to hogfly above where I have a 1-2 hour eating window. I try to follow a combo of paleo and keto when I do eat, so usually a salad with a ton of Avocado and olive oil based dressing, and maybe a grilled fatty piece of meat.
I do this, because once I start eating, I'm pretty much useless the rest of the day. I get sleepy and it's all downhill from there.
Pushing my eating window back to like 7-9pm allows me to get everything done for the day, and then I can eat and relax before bed. Keeps my energy levels super high, and I feel great all the time.

Very similar on energy levels. On the rare occasion that I have to eat a business lunch or something, my energy levels plummet.
I will say that if I’m doing something crazy aerobic like a long day on the mountain bike, I feed freely. If it’s just a short ride (an hour or less) I usually maintain my fast.

That’s what I’ve been doing, except I do lunch and dinner.
Not really about the fast period, more about just an easier way for me to control and count my calories.
Plus I’ve just never been someone who feels satisfied with grazing or small meals.
A meal should look and feel like a meal to me, not some fruit, then some nuts, then a chicken breast, then something else a couple hours later. To each their own, but it’s working for me.
