I’ve got a 15 year old Sun Mountain C-130, and it’s just falling apart.

15 years is obviously a wonderful life for a golf bag, but it did go like 9 years without leaving the closet.

Main problem I have with it is it will not stand up by itself, or it’s shaky at best when somebody breaths on it too hard.

Was looking around a couple shops over the weekend, and it seems that may still be a problem with Sun Mountain

The Titleist Cart 14 and 15 and Ping Pioneer bags, even a Mizuno one, seem to stand a little more sturdy than the C-130’s.

Want a cart bag, but they kind of seem like overkill. I’m not going to be piling a lot of shite in it though. I’m pretty basic. Couple gloves, rangefinder, tees, and balls.

Stand bags aren’t out of the question.. I’m just not going to be walking, and if I do I’ll get one of those strollers, so I don’t see much point. I don’t want the legs to get fricked up by the cart or anything, if that’s a possibility.

So yeah, just looking for some feedback. I will say, a dedicated putter well is a must. Too convenient.

I have the Ping Traverse cart bag. Flashy color might be a bit much for some (they make it in quite a few cool colors) but it's a nice bag. Not a million pockets but definitely plenty of space and it stands up fine. I would recommend it for sure. Switched from a Datrek cart bag and had no complaints with it other that it didn't stand up that well.

I have a sun mountain C-130S. It's similar to the C-130 cart bag but has a stand on it. I bought it because I walk alot of rounds but use a push stroller but also lug my bag to the driving range frequently and really wanted something that would stand up. Had it for a year or so with very very frequent use and no issues so far. If I was going to carry it for golf without the push cart I would have gotten something lighter. But since I'm not worried about that I've found it to be just about perfect for me.

Ha. My brother has the crazy looking blue one that looks like what I’d imagine being on LSD is like. Only thing I don’t like about it is it doesn’t have the putter well on the very back, so looking at the Pioneer in Ping line.

I've been using this for a year. Cheap, light, simple. I haven't had any issues with it.

Callaway Org 14

Stand bags have their place but I do not find them ideal for every day use.

Just ordered a bag over the weekend from Butter Golf Company. Never heard of them but the bag looks decent for $260 shipped and has 14 way felted dividers.

I'm going with the Titleist Cart 15 Bag. The 15th spot gives me somewhere for my alignment sticks without sharing a sleeve with one of my clubs.

Picked up one of these about 2 years ago now and I really like it. The magnetic latches on some of the pockets are a pretty cool feature that let you slide you hand in to get a ball quickly or access some other items. Plenty of storage as well.

I have the Ping Pioneer. It is a very well designed bag. Pockets for lots of things and easy to seperate tees from balls for example. Very good construction as well.

That photo is not my specific bag, but the Ping Hoofer 2 continues to be the greatest carry bag ever made. All other modern carry bags are honestly just trying to copy what they already perfected.
