Got fitted for some at my local Edwin Watts yesterday.
Was wondering if anyone has went ahead and ordered them.

Felt great. Bigger clubface than my current irons (Bridgestone J36 Cavity Backs).
Carrying the 7 iron 160 (I carry my current 7 iron around 145/150)
Been using Project X 6.0 shafts and went to the AMT x100 with the AP3s.
Technology is a beautiful thing, but I still want to look at Taylor Made and Bridgestone before making a move.

Guy I was with was looking at the new Srixons and was hitting the 6 iron 220. I was convinced the simulator was messed up but I took a few swings and hit it 185-190. I don't hit a 6 that long so they might be a legit replacement as well.

Hit the Ap3 today along with the mizuno jpx900. You'd be doing yourself a disservice if you did t try out the jpx900. They felt really good.

The AP3 7 iron is 3 degrees stronger than your J36 7 iron. Just a heads up if you weren't already aware.

Have to agree with Sherman here. I just got a set of the 900 forged. I've played 4 rounds with them now. I'm having yo adjust to the look and feel of them compared to my old set of x-22's, but I absolutely love them so far. I actually made three birdies in a row yesterday, at Stonebridge (Bossier City), for the 1st time ever!

I am thinking of pulling the trigger on these. Liked the forged feel with the extra forgiveness.
