Never played in New Orleans, will be there in 2 weeks to get 2 rounds in before a bachelor party. The other 2 guys I'm playing with have mentioned wanting to play TPC, what else is worth checking out?

Joseph Bartholomew. Best greens in the metro area.

I've played TPC a few times, really isn't anything to write home about but it will be in better shape than most courses.
I'd go check out City Park's new course, but I've heard mixed reviews, so it sounds like they need some time to get their act together.

Never played TPC. I like English Turn and Bayou Oaks.

The new City Park Course (Bayou Oaks South) is really nice. The practice facilities suck, but the course is fun and in really good shape. Played today and the fairways, greens and bunkers were really good. It's a bit wet though, so you will get zero run out on your tee balls. #teeitforward or you'll be hitting long irons into new greens that haven't quite "settled" yet.

And let me throw in Audubon Park, since I noticed you said Bachelor Party. It's a par 62 course in uptown NOLA. Setting is beautiful, course is always in great shape, it's fun as hell, and you can be done in 3-3.5 hours. If not all the guys in your group are regular players, it's the perfect place to play. The Nitro crowd will knock it, but it's the most popular event in our league every year.

I agree with Audubon for a fun quick round. Also You can look at Lakewood CC. I've heard good things about it but I've never played it haha
