Any golf board members playing in this?
Saturday August 19th - Qualifying & Round of 32 Matches
Qualifying Format: 18-Hole Stroke Play
Tee times 7:00 – 9:06, starting on holes #1 and #10
Top 28 players advance to match play on August 19th, 20th, & 26th
2016 Amateur Champion and 2017 Course Champions from Webb, City Park, & Dumas are exempt into match play.
Tee times 1:30 – 2:30 – Round of 32 matches
Match Play – August 20th & 26th
Sunday August 20th; Round of 16 - 7:00 am, Round of 8 – 12:30 pm Saturday August 26th, Round of 4 - 7:00 am, Championship Match – 12:30 pm

Last year was the first year they tried it. I like it, match play for the final 2 is a great way to end

BC is in really good shape right now. I'd say it's as good or better than SM, bc SM gets beat up with the amount of play.

36 holes both Saturday and Sunday seems like an awful lot of golf for an amateur tournament like this. And doing it in the middle of August is cruel.

Heard there are less than 40 people signed up. At one point these BREC tournaments were full up and you had to call early to get a spot.

The advocate article says that a golfer bogeyed hole 5 after hitting his ball into the trees and taking a drop.
