then youtube cracked down, but would not delete his account, because of the $$ they made him, with advertisements.

I'm fortunate what little I get from YT pays for my hobbies and goes back into new videos. Otherwise I probably couldn't do it.

I wouldn't say they are lazy as much as they work smart. I mean you have plenty with multiple channels and they are making bank. Tobuscus is banking a million plus a year with all of his channels. Most of them with 100K subs are making a decent living off of it right now.
Seananners said in an interview he makes 6 figures but then you do have the lazy ones that do 1 video a week like that JennaMarbles chick but for some reason people like her and her shite vids. She is making tons of money right now.
I still think FreddieW is my favorite Youtuber and he has a shot at doing much bigger things.

Love seananners. And yeah some of those youtubers make ridiculous money. I think Tobuscus is one of the youtubers that makes the most money, as he has 3 separate channels that make him money.. but I find him annoying as hell. He was funny the first 10 videos or so, then it just got old.
FreddieW is awesome, did you watch that show they made, VGHS? It was pretty darn good, considering the relatively low budget and all

Agree on Tobuscus. It's the same act and gets old but he and a few others that are the most successful in YT do one thing that keep people coming back. They share their lives and it makes people connect to them. That's why some are so horrible but have constantly high views.
I could care less about that crap and just want to be entertained but not everyone feels like I do. Plenty make emotional investments in people they follow on youtube sadly.
Yea I watched VGHS. It was somewhat cheesy but for his first series and low funding he raised on kickstarter I thought it turned out well. I think he has the chance to do very big things one day. He already makes great money though.

I guess for some people, getting attached via emotional attachment is entertainment. I just like to watch funny stuff, video game stuff, or music personally.. But to each their own.

Cheesy it definitely was, but I agree. I think part of that is just the acting in general because of low funding, and I think it was designed to be kind of cheesy also. Freddie and Brandon have a very high ceiling.
On a side note, I saw the actress that plays Jenny in a real commercial the other day.. Movin' on up . She's pretty hot

Yup. I think he lives in L.A. as well. 6 figs for just having fun playing games and living in L.A. That is a good life IMO.

Yea and it's high 6 figures. He has 22 million views the past 30 days and has averaged that for several months now. Machinima guys make $2 per 1000 views. $44k per month not counting what he makes for posting weekly vids on Machinima's channel.
