What was that website you were switching to because you hated Twitch about 6 months ago? 2 nights a week on it as you slowly transitioned over from Twitch? I forget the name. Your funny. Hitbox I think it was.
Hitbox when the muting first was implemented. There was a huge uproar, then everyone realized it wasn't nearly as invasive as we thought it was going to be. Muting small singular portions of streams is nothing. YTG's approach is on a whole other level.

Eh, pro players are generally on contracts for streaming, so that makes them pretty irrelevant in this discussion. Half of them have contracts to stream on Azubu for christs sake.

But again, no one cares about certain music genres over quality of stream, except apparently you which is maybe why you can't grow your stream beyond 3 average viewers.

Was it hitbox you were switching to? You didn't answer that part, ya know, back when you hated Twitch just a few months ago but are now fanboying like noneother.

I am wondering if this would be a viable option to get into instead of starting with twitch?

As a small or new streamer? Absolutely. Much less saturated market and getting in on the ground floor to start building your viewer base now before it inevitably gets much bigger is HUGE.

Just like people that started with Twitch years ago and got big, it's all about starting early sometimes and getting in before others. YTG will be big, how big who knows, overtake Twitch who knows, but it will have it's market and be large no matter what.

The quality of the stream for new/smaller viewers is huge as well. Anyone can stream in 1080p 60FPS on YTG, but Twitch requires you to be a partner to have quality options for your stream and you cannot stream beyond 720p 30fps unless partnered. Quality of stream is everything.

Nah I don't stream or have any desire to. Watch 2-3 from time to time.

That BFF is a good one.

I don't have the equipment currently to stream. I am working on that though. I have been researching twitch and how to start out effectively. However, with the release of YTG that has me questioning going with twitch. If I can have 1080p60frames out the gate instead of possibly never getting them with twitch then YTG is the answer to me. I purely see this as a hobby, albeit an expensive one.

If YTG can get paid subscriptions and tips fully integrated then I don't see the point of Twitch.

Oh and Twitch streamers turned me onto these guys called Approaching Nirvana who release Copyright Free music that is really good imo.

When I had an actual schedule and took it seriously I averaged 20. But you know everything.
