oh yeah, that's in line with that "a little too weird" comment I made about the final fantasy x characters. but he's not really a part of the story in any kind of material way. do you know I never played that game until last year?
the art style was always such a fricking turn off to me for years, and yet low and behold i'm jonesing for some Zelda and give in and it was fricking awesome.

navi was annoying without a doubt, and it was there to hold your hand rather than to be a meaningful part of the story (whereas other companion characters had compelling stories) but I can't imagine playing the game without navi. having said that, she's a part of the narrative and she's not really interesting
i just can't imagine liking that game as much without navi..."hey listen" is burned into my brain. if navi sucks then the dog from duck hunt sucks, and even though i try and shoot him, that dog is awesome.

the one from majora's mask isn't really that bad, but the one in wind waker fricking sucks...and they include him in the main narrative a couple of times.

now that's a good one...i enjoyed it because it felt pretty awesome to execute all the force stuff and kill stormtroopers with the lightsaber but starkiller and juno eclipse are pretty fricking terrible.

James Vega from Mass Effect 3. I disliked both Ashley and Kaiden, but this pussy arse guido frick was literally the only character in the entire Mass Effect series that I actually hated. Gigantic step down from Jacob.
